What is Life Coaching?
Psychology Today's definition of Life Coach is "a person who helps others make progress in their lives." Life coaches help with relationships, work-life balance, goals, and other day-to-day struggles.
"It's important to note that life coaches are not licensed therapists, mental health counselors, or psychologists. Life coaches must not in any way act as a therapist." Psychology Today
Life coaches are here to help, support, guide, and most importantly, direct you back to yourself. Life coaches do not give advice we work with you to develop an action plan to get you to where you want to be.
If you think coaching makes you weak, I invite you to rethink that. Coaching helps address your strengths and pushes you to connect and develop them. Every high-performing actor, athlete, and executive-level business person has some type of coach. Coaching is for high-performing people that want to excel and know that they can with a little help.
